2010 midwinter knack

Saturday 26 June, 9.30-1.30
South Wellington Intermediate School hall
Rintoul Street (next to Wakefield Hospital)
Newtown

What better place to find winter woollies, cosy coats....lots of things to keep warm and dry yet stylish while enduring the cold winter months, than midwinter knack? It's a great way of supporting local makers who often create their work by recycling or reusing something that has had a previous life.

This midwinter knack is being held in a great new venue, which is the hall at South Wellington Intermediate School. We have changed venue mainly due to the time of the year - we want all our vendors to have lots of space and for everyone at knack to stay warm and dry while they enjoy the crafty atmosphere!

We are lucky enough to once again have that great combination of regular vendors as well as lots of vendors new to knack and can't wait to see all their work in the new venue.

On the menu this time round is hot soup, stuffed baked potatoes, lots of delicious baking and hot fresh coffee, as well as samosas and Thai cuisine. There will be an activity table for the kids, live music, lots of free parking, and yes, we still have EFTPOS!
